Thank You, WWD

Yesterday afternoon, an article about Project Artisan appeared in the Social Studies section of WWD online.  WWD is more than the fashion bible, it’s a daily dose of fashion scripture.  We read it, follow it, and shop by it. So, when we saw the article in black and white, it was clear: Project Artisan has arrived!

What does it mean to have an article in WWD? After the elation of seeing Project Artisan in print (online), we are asking ourselves this question and preparing for how this will change the future of PA.  On a day-to-day level, things will stay the same.  We will still seek out designers who fit our mission; we will fill orders and find ways to perfect the site; and we will work to meet the needs of our growing customer base.  On a much larger level, the publicity establishes Project Artisan as the source for socially responsible fashion, ethical luxury, and products custom-crafted by emerging designers from all over the world.  It’s an auspicious debut.  Stay tuned for more exciting upcoming news about Project Artisan!
